Intensive research is currently ongoing at the MIMT, aimed at developing innovative therapy for pathological obesity, insulin resistance and the equine metabolic syndrome (EMS). Such therapy would be based on modern pharmacology and appropriate nutritional strategy.

lek. wet. Anna Cisło-Pakuluk (VS)

Small animals clinic director.

A graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Wrocław. She has been working with eye diseases of dogs, cats and horses since 2005. During her studies, she completed numerous apprenticeships and  internships abroad, including a scholarship at the University of Budapest and the University of Ludwik Maximilian in Munich, in one of the best centers of veterinary ophthalmology in Europe, under the supervision of prof. H. Gerhards. After an internship at a horse hospital, she gained experience in the field of companion animal diseases at one of the largest clinics in Wrocław. Member of the European Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology, a longtime translator of ophthalmic publications for the Elsevier publishing house, author of many articles in the trade press. Regular participant in ESVO and ECVO conventions. She has completed a course in cataract surgery using the phacoemulsification method and cryosurgery. Lek.wet Anna Cisło-Pakuluk also completed the 1st degree course in ophthalmology in Luxembourg and the 2nd degree course in the field of ophthalmic surgery organized in Toulouse. Since 2016, she has additionally been involved in scientific work, aimed at applying the latest achievements of regenerative medicine in the treatment of retinal diseases.
