Genetic testing of the intestinal microbiome
Genetic fecal testing includes molecular diagnostics of microflora – microbiotic profile, levels of beneficial and pathogenic intestinal flora.
Disturbed microflora can contribute to chronic diarrhea, constipation, ulcers, digestive problems as well as decreased immunity, the appearance of parasites and inflammation.
Our test allows us to monitor the patient’s intestinal function, determine the level of nutrient absorption, control the composition of the intestinal microflora, and enable early diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases. Thanks to the use of modern molecular diagnostic techniques, we can determine the level of more than a dozen positive and pathogenic bacteria in a single test, including very aggressive bacteria such as Clostridioides difficile, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes and Campylobacter jejuni.
The test results:
- make it possible to detect bacterial infections even at the initial stages of infection
- form the basis for the decision to introduce probiotic therapy
- are helpful in selecting the right supplementation and diet
